    We loved it. We have decided that All Adult is the way to go. Even though, what we consider as kids (19+) were still there.. just no little ones.


    The pool was awesome and seemed to go on for miles.. You could not see the beach from the pool because of all the trees. There was a pathway that led to the beach and the beach bar (just a shack really). The beach area was rather shallow, but nice. The sand was not quite as powdery as cancun, but still beautiful. Food was wonderful! We had lunches with fresh fish, shrimp, etc cooked to order.. Delicious. There is lots of walking on this resort. Most of which is on uneven rock/tile. We saw several people with hurt legs and ankles. We even saw one lady in a wheelchair. All had hurt themselves because of too much alcohol and trip/falls. Be careful in heels!


    As for topless sun bathing. no more than other resorts in Cancun that were not all adult. We only saw one lady at the beach area and one at the pool area. No big deal, but it was allowed if you wanted to.


    It was a pretty quiet resort, not much night life. We were hoping for more. But great for honeymoon couples or those that just want to get away for a while.

    Hi Glenda,

    We have been so busy since we got back from our trip but we just wanted to say THANK YOU. Thank you for all your help. We were very blessed to have had the opportunity to be able to take such a trip. It was an unforgettable, WONDERFUL experience. We had a great time and were blessed with perfect weather every day on our trip. I guess everything happens for a reason and we thank God our trip was pushed back until late September.

    We saw so many beautiful places. There is so much history, architecture and art work. The southern coast of France was awesome. We sure did enjoy the Mediterranean sea. The Sistine chapel was so much more beautiful than the first time I saw it. The tour guide was so helpful and so knowledgeable we thought he was a history teacher just spitting out facts. our driver did some amazing maneuvers I don''t know how was able to drive that huge bus onto some of those narrow streets. Our group was also fun. We have made some new friends which we hope the friendships last a long time.

    We are still looking through our pictures and will send you some.

    We will never forget our European experience.

    Thank you again for all your help. We will continue to use your services for any future trips we may plan.

    we are back from our trip and had a great time! thanks so much for your help in planning it! i will send pics soon. out of the 6 couples we were the only ones that booked our trip through you and we were the only ones that had our room assignment as requested. while it did take over two hours to check in, we did not need to change our room and our room assignment was perfect. we got a free upgrade and got the king room we requested. everyone in our group will be using you for their future trips so i will make sure they let you know who referred them to you!

    anyway, we are having our ten year anniversary next year and either want to go to a Sandals all-inclusive or the royal in playa del carmen. our anniversary is march 11 but we are really flexible on our travel dates. if you see any good deals or know of upcoming specials please let us know. thanks again!

    Glenda, helped me plan my honeymoon cruise. This was not my first cruise, but it was the first one we would be paying for ourselves. So I had lots of questions, wanted lots of numbers, and Glenda helped me every step of the way.     Our trip was great and everyone had a blast! It was so good, the grand kids actually asked to go to Kid's Club..Wow!!!!! Hayden had his 10th birthday on vacation (again!!) and had a great day. Occidental Grand is our favorite hotel in Cozumel now that we have been. It is great for couples and is especially great for families. Just wanted to give you an update now that we are back home. As usual, thanks for helping us get booked and for saving us a few $$ along the way!!!!!!!!!! (The kids and grand kids were the beneficiaries---surprise!)

    Our trip was July 19th-22nd to Negril,Jamaica. this was out first time and we had a wonderful time. Everyday there was something to do different. And, every night there was a different sunset that was breath taking. The natives are very friendly but beware of the ones trying to hustle you out of money on the beach. But, hotel security where always there to take care of those who bother you. We will be going back soon. Thanks to Joy for all her hard work in making this the best vacation. LOVE YOU ALL AT JOYRIDE TRAVEL.
